These days i'm experimenting with WordPress
It is nice and some features are really good, like import facility to import all your posts from many differnt blogs on to word press.
Managed to import from all my differnt blogs to make on nice Organized blog.
Like the categories option and also the book mark option.
Somehow its not very flexible with the look and feel of the blog.
Some templates are good, some terrible, some are nice but lack certain features and most of them are not at all customizable.
Have experimented with differnt looks, some how i still like this blogspot glimpses blog.

So not sure if to close this down and move on to word press, or stick to blogger....

IV alwaya had wierd dreams...i get the most exotic dreams anyone can think of! hehe if i start making movies out of them, they would be super hits im sure.

I usually tend to forget my dreams, after a few days they just dissappear.. but there are certains dreams i can never erase from my mind.
I usally dream of water.. im in sea, on the ship.. prob coz my dad is a sailor and i love the sea. But somehow , some dreams are so wierd.. so breathtaking..

i remeber seeing this dream where i was on the ship.. right in the front. the bow.. hehe NO.. this dream was Before anyone (meaning general public) had even heard of the Titanic.

It was dark, wind blowing on my face and right in the midle of the ocean was a huge carnival, beautifully lit up, with a ferris wheel, in the darkness of the ocean, that was like a galaxy on its own, and i sail past it, almost touching the ferris wheel...

One dream i can never forget was that it was a beautiful day, im again at the bow, sailing towards the most beautiful green cliff i had ever seen and right on its top was a castle!

Imagine my surprise when i came across this pic of Irelands west coast.. this is what i saw in my dream and i had never even seen this pic before.. let alone heard of the place!!

Some how ,in my dream my ship anchors right in front of the cliff and i step onto the cliff and the castle....

i so badly want to go there in real life..

The Darwin's Theory of Evolution is just that! a THEORY.
But it has been propagated as a fact.In school, i remeber, we were taught the concepts of evolution and that humans were apes first and how animals changed thier physical form due to their needs. One story i can recall was that the Elephants grew the trunks so that they could clean the Noah's Ark!!!
It was only later that i realized it was all crap! all a wildly imagined theory presented by this man called Darwin with NO scientific evidence. The Pilt Down man brought forward as proof of Evolution turned out to be the Hoax of the century made up of human skill and an Orangutan jaw.
Inspite of no proof , fact or evidence of this theory , it is presented in Schools and media as an undeniable fact. When i visited the Natural History Museum in London i was shocked to see an entire section devoted to Charles Darwin and the Theory of evolution, showing various skulls, bones and stones trying to present it as a fact.

It is amazing to note, that the British Museum presents Evolution in a highest Glory while on the other hand their universities teach that every statemnt be backed by proof and evidence and theory is just a hypothesis.. a speculation.. which has to be proved.

I would call it Hypocricy of the utmost kind!

After that the Ummayad and the Abbasid caliphates are discussed.The last vol discussesSpain before and after Islam and Egyptian dynasties and the Ottoman empire.

If you are looking for one book which covers all aspects of Islamic history then this is a must have. However it would have been beneficial if the sources of hadiths were mentioned.

Imagine an Interest Free world ? ? ! !
Imagine... imagine a world free of interest... yeah .. it definitely seems like a dream .. to far removed from reality. In this world where bank loans and credit cards are flourishing...we just can not imagine a world without interest.Statistics by Credit Action UK for Sep,2005 show that the total UK personal debt broke the £1.1 trillion barrier i.e £1,100,000,000,000 in June 2005 and Britain's personal debt is increasing by £1 million every four minutes ! ! !Working in the bad bad world of credit finance I have come to appreciate and truly acknowledge that EVERY command of Allah has soo much wisdom behind it that we may never be able to fully comprehend it.Islam is a complete way of life. It is a just religion and gives everyone equal rights. Any economic activity which would harm anyone,is unjust, socially injurius or morally wrong is forbidden. Interest has been completely forbidden in Islam by Allah's command in the Quran:(The Arabic word for Interest and usury is Riba.)
2:275. Those who eat Ribâ (usury) will not stand (on the Day of Resurrection) except like the standing of a person beaten by Shaitân (Satan) leading him to insanity. That is because they say: "Trading is only like Ribâ (usury)," whereas Allâh has permitted trading and forbidden Ribâ (usury). So whosoever receives an admonition from his Lord and stops eating Ribâ (usury) shall not be punished for the past; his case is for Allâh (to judge); but whoever returns [to Ribâ (usury), such are the dwellers of the Fire - they will abide therein.
If only the interst free Islamic Banking System prevailed...this dream would turn into a reality...ending the misery of millions of people... making this world a debt free world.

Whomever Allah Guides None can lead astray
A new Muslim!Last week i had the previlige to see a woman revert to Islam and gave the Shadah!This was the first time I witnessed a person accept Islam and it was the most beautiful ..the most emotional moment.That lady was with us in an Islamic Course class for 2 weeks. I dont know her history much.. she was studying Islam for quite some time now and took this small course on Islam that was being held in my University by Utrujj Foundation. On the last day of the course she surprised us all by wanting to accept Islam. Alhamdulilah .. SubhanAllah.. i just dont have words to describe the feelings...Seeing another person so sincerly accept Islam and trying her best to follow it.. makes me ashamed. of my self and my fellow muslims ... we take Islam for granted and are so far removed from its purity and teachings.May Allah guide us all. Ameen

Who is to be blamed for the pathetic conditions the Muslims are living in today? The way Muslims are being targeted, looked down upon, hated and assaulted? Is it because they are Muslims .....following the Truth? following the Quran and Sunnah? Are these difficult times a test from Allah to test their faith? or is it because they are far away from the truth.. far from the spirit and soul of Islam.. far from the teaching of Islam
?I recently saw a Video by Harun Yahya on "The Signs of the Last day"http://www.harunyahya.com/signsofthelastday/It chilled me to the bones to see that most of the saying of Prophet Muhammad saww have come true which shows that the Last day is near.As Harun Yahya states in his book :"The following are the signs reveled by the Prophet (saas) 14 centuries ago, and which are coming true in the age in which we live:According to the Qur'an, on the Last Day the Prophet (saas) will say that his own people will have abandoned the Qur'an: "My Lord, my people treat this Qur'an as something to be ignored…" (Surat al-Furqan: 30)It is also revealed in the hadiths that, during the End Times, the Qur'an's guidance will be disregarded and people will stray from it.Near the establishment of the Hour there will be days during which (religious) knowledge will be taken away (vanish) and general ignorance will spread...(Bukhari)There will come a time for my people when there will remain nothing of the Qur'an except its outward form and nothing of Islam except its name and they will call themselves by this name even though they are the people furthest from it.(Ibn Babuya, Thawab ul-A'mal) "Thus the muslims are alone to be blamed for the problems we are facing and the conditions we are in.We muslims of this time are ignorant and mis-informed. How can we expect to be saved and go to heaven..live a good peaceful life in this world.. when apart from Namaz(prayer) and Roza(fast) we dont have any clue about what Islam really is!!?? And even in that how many of us do actually pray 5 times a day and fast during ramazan with true spirit and understanding?

Small Little things i miss here...
There are many small little things which we take for granted at home. I am very homesick these days and miss home alot. Even small little things...like geo tv..hehehee belive it or not even a rikshaw.. have to walk here alot in cold.. bus stops just too far away.. i wud do anything to get a rikshaw here.......miss the sound of the adhan and the dua after the adhan which comes on tv. I miss saying salam to people. Yes some muslims freinds i have ..we all say salam to each other but the sad thing is that at work it took me months to know who was a muslim. Even if people know you are amuslim and they themselves are muslims. wud never say salam. Thats the sad truth.It really cheers me up when other women wearing the hijab.head scarves see me and say salam. You feel an instant connection .. a feeling of belonging. I wish all the British born muslims would start saying salam and not hide their faith.

The 7/7
The tragic events of 7/7 in London has yet again shifted the attention of the world to Islam ...which to the western world is all about Islamist Terrorism..Jihad.. the holy war.. suicide bombers.. subjugation of women ... and an alien culture.Muslims are again a target for hate crimes and discrimination more than ever. They are looked at.. stared at suspiciously... sometimes abused and screamed at and in worst cases beaten to death..like the incident of a 48 year old Pakistani man first called "Taliban" then beaten to death out side the ciggertte shop in Nottigham on 13th July. Other cases include attack on Masjids ..the worship place of Muslim and on Islamic centres...but ofcourse such news never makes the headlines...Many warped stories about Islam are circulating and shows the extent of the ignorance of the west about Islam. Thier views and opinions on Islam are based on actions of some individuals.
That in NO way relfects the true teachings of Islam.The saddest thing is that the Muslims themsleves are ignorant.. unaware of the teachings of their own religion. This makes it reletively easy for the terrorists to brain wash the youngsters into believing something which completely contradicts Islamic teaching.I think everyone needs to gain an understanding of Islam and its true teachings.The actions of the London Bombers have done nothing but harm to the entire world and i would say especially the Muslims. Their acts are in no way a service to Islam ...they are infact a heinous crime against Islam.
